1. Agreement
These Terms govern your access to MeritX. By connecting a wallet, connecting an X account, creating or joining a campaign, or otherwise using MeritX, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, and legally permitted to use blockchain and digital-asset services. You are responsible for determining whether local laws restrict your access or participation.
3. Wallets and accounts
You control your wallet and are responsible for its security, transaction approvals, network fees, and activity. MeritX will never ask for your private key or seed phrase. Wallet signatures may create authenticated sessions but do not authorize MeritX to move assets unless a separate transaction clearly requests that action.
You must provide accurate information, connect only accounts you control, and promptly revoke access if you believe an account or credential has been compromised.
4. Campaign rules and participation
Campaign creators can configure published rules such as enabled tasks, epoch length, winner count, and community share. Creators cannot privately select individual recipients through MeritX. Participants enter through the same published task and ranking process.
Verification may depend on X data, public blockchain snapshots, time windows, originality checks, community votes, and anti-abuse rules. A submission can be rejected, reversed, or reviewed if evidence is missing, duplicated, manipulated, or inconsistent with the published rules.
5. Rewards, claims, and feature readiness
A score, rank, projected amount, campaign listing, or successful task check does not by itself guarantee a reward. Rewards are available only when the applicable campaign is funded, its settlement is valid, and the relevant claim mechanism is active. The interface will identify features that are pending, unfunded, test-only, or unavailable.
You are responsible for taxes, wallet compatibility, network fees, and legal obligations associated with any reward. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Using bots, duplicate identities, coordinated manipulation, or false evidence.
- Impersonating another person or connecting an account you do not control.
- Attempting to bypass campaign rules, rate limits, security controls, or verification checks.
- Introducing malicious code, disrupting the service, or probing systems without authorization.
- Using MeritX for unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or sanctioned activity.
7. Third-party services
MeritX relies on independent services including X, wallets, public blockchains, RPC providers, Pons, token issuers, and infrastructure providers. MeritX does not control their availability, accuracy, security, policies, or actions. Your use of those services is governed by their terms.
8. No financial advice
MeritX is a campaign and verification interface. Nothing on MeritX is investment, legal, tax, or financial advice, and no content is an offer or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold a digital asset. Digital assets can be volatile and may lose all value.
9. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, respond to third-party changes, or improve the service. We may suspend participation or access where we reasonably believe these Terms or campaign rules have been violated.
10. Disclaimers and limitation
MeritX is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular ranking, reward, token value, transaction outcome, or third-party data result. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeritX and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost assets, or losses arising from wallets, smart contracts, blockchains, tokens, or third-party services.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Questions can be submitted through the official support channel identified on the MeritX website or application listing.
